Hi.
I have a desktop at home running with Windows XP, Service Pack 3 and iTunes. As this is the common PC at home, there are 3 user accounts for 3 of our family members. Everything was working fine including iTunes. We never had any problem. Recently I received an update for iTunes and updated it to version 7.6.1.9. Update process went fine without any problem but now the problem is the except my account, rest of two users are not able to use iTunes any more.
Whenever they log in to their accounts and click iTunes to start, it brings up Windows Installer and starts installing iTunes but at the end, it fails. I thought re-installing itunes can fix the problem, hence I uninstalled the same with QuickTime player. And re-installed both iTunes and QuickTime but it still works only for my account using which I re-installed.
Any idea what is wrong and how can I make it work again? Please help. Many thanks.
