IE 7 opens in blank page

This is Windows XP SP2 desktop running with Internet Explorer 7. Now as you can understand from the subject title, the problem is with this IE browser. Whenever I click any web URL from another program like Yahoo or Live Messenger, it opens Internet Explorer but a blank page where it should open the web page, right?

Let me tell you that It was working fine earlier unless yesterday since I installed Mozilla Firefox. But I have still kept IE as the default browser hence clicking URl opens IE. Any idea what could be the problem?

Hello friend. Let me tell you that this problem is related to Internet Explorer and you have posted this in WIndows P newsgroup. Better for IE7 assistance, please post to :microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general newsgroup.

Hi Daughtry,

First of all go to Control Panel, click Add or remove programs and Set program access and defaults. Select IE7 as default web browser.

Once done, go to Start > RUN type the following and press Enter:
regsvr32 urlmon.dll

Click OK twice to receive the following message "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded".

Hoppefully problem should be solved by now.
