Even I am getting this error, the issue started when my pc got effected by a new folder virus. I cannot say whether that virus has changed my system settings or I have done some changes in attempt to remove it. I then ran combofix after that to fix the problems my system had after removing this virus. But whenever I install some software then I am getting "unable to install in temporary directory. setup aborted error 5 : access denied". Can anyone help us out. Thanks. |

Can you try to explore to the temporary directory and then right click and select security and then check that you have permissions to write to that directory. You can also download Long Path Tool to solve this issue. |
