Add/Remove Programs Missing/Cannot uninstall

I am getting this issue for a while now. But, just recently, I noticed that suddenly a lot of my programs were disappearing from the add and remove program. I have just found out that I cant even uninstall some. I am starting to get worried that there is a virus because there is this file that never goes away, can anyone please help me? Thanks.

You can try to uninstall an appliaction via Registry, just go to Start and then Run and then type Regedit and then press enter. After that locate this key - HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall. Search for the program that you want to uninstall, they will be arranged alphabetically. Once You Find Parent Key, Inside It, You'll find (Right Pane) an "UninstallString". The Data In This Value Can be Used To Remove The Program. After that double click UninstallString and copy the data inside it. Now click on Start and then Run and then paste the data and enter. Now follow the prompts.

Thanks, I went to the path you told me, but not even a quarted of the programs that are on my pc are there. There are few with a bunch of numbers and letters and then some install shield thing. I think that there might be a virus on my computer? Could you please help.

You can try to delete those by going into Safe Mode?
