| Cannot delete:access is denied message
There are some file/folders I am unable to delete. When I try, I get error message that reads: Cannot delete (name of folder): Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use. Not sure what to do to be able to delete these. Not even sure how to find out if I am the owner of the files. I am the administrator and that has not changed. Please help? I am using Windows XP Home Edition. |

The main reason behind this message is that some other program is using the file. Identify and close that programs as mentioned in globinch.com (Windows : Cannot Delete File : Access Denied – File Unlocker) Last edited by Kunal : 23-02-2011 at 06:59 PM. Reason: External Linking is not allowed |
