I can play a video DVD but am unable to burn a particular one that I have been burning copies in the past. What's happened. The machine continually kicks out the blank DVD that I am trying to burn. The original will copy ok but when inserting a blank DVD-R or DVD-RW, it rejects the tray.

What is the resolution to the above problem? It will copy but will not burn, the drive tray keeps kicking out.

Off the top of my head.

1.Perhaps sonic does not like the type of disc you are using,try another brand. 2.You have sonic running in simulation mode? Look in the program for a setting you have checked,if you don't have any answers when I get home from work I'll check out sonic for the setting.

Which burning software you are using?

My software is Sonic MyDVDPlus V7

But I've been burning discs off the same original a few weeks ago and all of a sudden it keeps rejecting the burn...I've chatted w/Roxio and HP and none of their solutions helped. I even tried the free downloads in CNET but I'm a bit confused on their programs.

Open device manager and see if their are any errors next to your burners.

Something is wrong with SONIC MYDVD Plus its unable to install or something is missing can this be fixed???

I finaly just un-installed it. It kept wanting to load from a disc I don't have. Got the AVS DVD software which works just as well.
