    Error message 0X00000078B (0XF78D2524, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X0

I am installing Windows XP on the newly installed hard drive in my system. I had first formatted and created partition. It was working fine. But later on when I started the installation the same crashed with an error. The error message that I am getting on my screen is 0X00000078B. While on the other hard drive I am having Windows Vista. I think installing two OS on the same system is not a big issue.

According to me the fault lies with the setup disc I think. It is essential that you must change that and then test back. Can you arrange a different cd. I got the similar issue long time go. It was due to the CD I was having. Due to scratches some files were not proper and the setup crashes within few minutes after start. Dual boot is not a issue here. If there is configuration problem then you face this kind of problems.
