RE: slow playback of cd and dvd

Under Enhancements, is there a button named "Snap slider to common speeds"?
If there is, make sure it is checked.

RE: slow playback of cd and dvd

It is checked but it does not change speeds. I also ripped music from a cd
and it plays fine on the media player. but playing a cd direcly from the
drive plays slow and choppy. can it be a problem with the motor in the drive?
it does seem to take longer to burn or rip than it used to. It also seems
that wmp10 was faster at burning and ripping. Can I go back to wmp 9 or 10 to
see if the wmp10 is the problem. I just upgraded to wmp10 a month ago.

RE: slow playback of cd and dvd

Yes, I highly recommend you go back to v10. V11 was mainly written for
Windows Vista, not XP. See notes below.
