| Error Downloading iTunes 7.5
Hi. I hope someone can help. I have Windows XP (Home Edition) and have been using an older version of iTunes. I have tried multiple times to download the latest version (7.5). I run the application and then, each time, it gets stuck on the Windows Installer (preparing to install). After several minutes, I get the following error message: "msiexec.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Error Signature, Event type: InPage Error P1: c000009c P2: 00000003 Can anyone help? I want buy my husband an iPhone for Christmas, but need the latest version of iTunes. Thanks!! |

Thanks, Jerry. I did check for all updates and it said I was current. Do you have any other thoughts? Thanks, Jerry. You were very helpful. Turns out my installer was corrupted. After deinstalling and reinstalling, all is well. Thanks, again!
