Convert HD file system from "RAW" to "NTFS" on slave drive? (Win X

Replaced power supply after failure and added new HD as Master "C" and moved
original HD to Slave "E". Both drives are recognized and identified by Disk
Management as "Online" and "Healthy" and show partitions, but "C" is
identified as having "NTFS" file system while "E" is blank and under
properties shows file system as "RAW". Can I convert the "Raw" file system on
the primary partition of HD "E" to "NTFS" without formatting as all of my old
data (photos, music, etc.) is intact in that partition? I have not found any
of the numerous "recovery" disks available online to be convincingly
effective. Thank you in advance.

Google "Knoppix" - a Linux distribution that runs from a CD - installtion to
HD not required. Majority of "Recovery" utilies on Internet are Linux
based..
Linux provides access to Windows file/folders.

However keep in mind that generally "Raw" data files may be "tough" to
access.
