Error Msg. "Windows cannot find 'http://oca.microsoft.com/resredir.aspx? Please help Thanks

Something went wrong with my Windows XP desktop. Since past four days my system is started crashing with BlueScreen. After BSOD, when the system restarts, i get the following error message:

"Windows cannot find 'http://oca.microsoft.com/resredir.aspx?sid=10&Bucket=0xF4_IOERR_C000000E_IMAGE_hardware_disk&State=1&ID=157d7863-45fa-4f35-a30e-d2f983d882cb&LCID=1033&)OS=5.1.2600.2.00010100.2.0'.
Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button, and then click Search."

Any idea how can i get rid of this error? Please help.

Have you changed anything before this problem happened? Have you installed any new hardware or software or updates from microsoft? Can you try to do System Restore to a date when things were working Okay and see if it will help, also try to uninstall newly installed Hardware/software one at a tie and then Reboot and see if the error will come back. Also make sure your system clean from Malware and viruses.

I have the same problem.
I have read your reply and copied the information from the event viewer you asked for and hope you can help me as well.
This problem arose after I changed my system to wireless.
Below are the errors logged in the EV

Faulting application iexplore.exe, version 6.0.2800.1106, faulting module msvcrt.dll, version 7.0.2600.1106, fault address 0x00033de0.

Well thank you very much for your prompt response.
I have tried your option 1 and it seems to have fixed the problem.
However I will read through the rest of your reply tomorrow as its quite late here at the moment.
I would like to thank you again for your help and your quick reply,

Edit

Looks like I've run out of luck.
Can't get past part2 of your solution;msvcrt\dll is already in system 32 but I can't find Windows\ ServicePackFiles.

Then Windows can't find sfc/scannow to run it.
Further down I dont have manage add ons in the Programs tab which may be because I have not downloaded service pack 2.
Is this a must.

Can you please specify what kind of your Operating system specs and what Software is installed on you pc? What all types of Anti-virus/antimalware have you got, try to run a thorough scan for both.
