System restore not working due to virus

i ran a system restore and it comes up can't restore.
i think thier may be a virus or a trojen on my pc.
what can i do.

System restore will not work here if you have virus on your system. Whenever you will run it, it will restore the infected files also. Better do this. Restart your pc and boot in safe mode. You can do that by pressing F8 continuously on restart. In safe mode run full system antivirus scan and leave the pc for sometime. I hope that you have a better antivirus. You can use Antivirus like Norton, Kasperksy for this purpose.
