When logging off and shutting down Windows, the following dialog box appears: End Program brdr Cannot locate this file/program. What should I do to correct. |

Run msconfig and look in its StartUp folder. If brdr is shown, deselect it, close out msconfig, restart and see if that helps. When alerted that msconfig is running in diagnostic mode, click the option to not alert you again. If all runs well for awhile, find where brdr was being loaded, and remove it form the registry, or wherever. Other posts on the error message, though none are of much help. http://groups.google.com/groups/sear...start=40&sa=N& -- Joe =o) |

..use - search for - Windows Live One Care -free and complete computer scan with Registry Clean up included. Use it whever you need to for free online. The first time you use it it will download about 11MBs of software. I use it often..last time it found 127 bad registry entries and removed them. -- ....scribble...scribble...scribble... I registered to the site just to say this - I found a quick and easy resolution for the think-adz/brdr problem. for think-adz: go to task manager and find a process starting with pw (it changes names from machine to machine from what I understand). Even if it doesn't begin with pw, here's how you fish it out: copy/paste every process you're suspicious of in the explorer search and find the one that is in system32 and has a Think-Adz logo. End the process and delete the file. for brdr: the process should be called ljdsrngj.exe (this one could have a slightly different name on your system, like ljdsrngm.exe). End the process, then find it in system32 and delete it. Even if that's not the name, do another search on every process your'e suspicious of and find a file from system32 that has about 50kb and was created when your problems started. That's all there is to it. I did it a few days ago and no problems since. |
