| No Script Engine for the file extension ".js"
I downloaded a 30 day trial from Adobe, for "Dreamweaver," while in the browser, Internet Explorer. I don't want it, so I removed it, using add/remove programs . After the removal, I get this error message...(little windows keep popping up all the time, over and over, it's driving me crazy). "Windows Host, No script engine for the file extension ".js" So, I reinstalled the Adobe 30 day trial, and the error messages are gone. How can I fix this??? Adobe won't help me, and Microsoft support says it's an XP problem, not an Internet Explorer problem. Kay |

You can reinstall/upgrade the scripting engine by downloading "Windows Script 5.7 for Windows XP" from here: Download details: Windows Script 5.7 for Windows XP: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en -- Regards, Ramesh Srinivasan, Microsoft MVP [Windows Shell/User] Windows® Troubleshooting http://www.winhelponline.com "Kay" <Kay@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:240DD344-FC29-447B-8CF7-14137B5131D8@microsoft.com...
