usb2 hardware but no usb2 function

I am having an AMD machine with a VIA chipset kt600-8237. I had successfully installed the Via Enhanced Host Controller driver and on the device manager I am getting the following:

I am a little confused about the usbd.sys driver that is being an older version. Also, the usb 2.0 root hub is listed as NEC. I think that it was the original usb 2.0 driver but it does not seem right. The online update does work in 1.1 mode but not with usb 2.0 mode? Any ideas?

Have you read everything and installed the suggested drivers, if yes, then there isnt much left for anyone to provide you better assitance. You can however try to check in the bios to see if the usb settings are enabled. Also, by using a tool to check and or test the connections. You can also try to run msinfo32 and look for conflicts or try a benchmarking tool like pcwizard.

Thank you, I checked that the Bios setting has been set for usb 2 already. I then used the msinfo and found no conflicts as well. I also downloaded the pcwizard and used it to look for issues, but nothing was found. Any other suggestions.

Did you also checked if the plug and play service is enabled. Check the below link for more information.
