Desktop, Menu Bar, Desktop Icons Fail to load
I am having a Windows XP desktop. It worked fine until I turned it off yesterday night but today morning when I started the system, it went fine until I logged in my account. I saw my desktop background loading but there were no desktop icon, no Start menu, nothing. When I press Ctrl-Alt-Del it opens the task manager fine but thatís it. I cannot access anything else.
Can anyone please tell me what has happened to my system thought it was shutdown? How can I fix it? Many thanks.
RE: Desktop, Menu Bar, Desktop Icons Fail to load
Most probably there would be some problem with any System File. hence i would suggest you to better go to start/run, and type SFC /SCANNOW to repair all system files. Hopefully it will fix the problem.
Furthermore, there are many more discussions available on the same problem with solution. You should check them as well. I'm sure you will find a working solution:
Desktop. No Icons. No Task Bar. No Task Manager. HELP ME
No taskbar or desktop icons
Desktop not showing anything (no start button, toolbar, icons, etc.)
No desktop icons, task manager, mouse or task bar on start up
