iexplore exe-application error

when using windows at times i will get this message and it shuts windows
down. any ideas how to fix it?
cwndsession monitor iexplore exe-application error
instruction at "ox62304390" referenced memory at "ox62304390" the memory
could not be read.
IE6 windows xp

Disable all IE Add-ons and see if the problem still persists.

If the problem does not occur any more with all IE add-ons disabled then
re-enable one add-on at a time until the problem occurs again to find the
offending add-on. Once found, either remove the add-on or keep it disabled.
