    Windows - No Disk error

Hi, this is Windows XP SP2 running desktop. I haven’t made any changes to this system since past 1 month. But from last three days whenever I start and login to my account, I first get greeted with an error pop up saying:

    “Windows - No disk
    Exception Processing Message c00000013 parameters 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c”

It use to have two buttons saying ‘Try Again’ and ‘Cancel’. If I click try again, it remains there and if I click ‘Cancel’ 8 to 10 times, it goes away. I don’t know which disk is it talking about.

Hope someone here will surely help me out of this. Many Thanks.

I am not sure whether this will help you but let me put this here. I had the same problem and of course the same error use to pop up everytime. But in my case i was using an external usb hard drive and a usb internal card reader. The error use to appear when i i unplug these USB devices without following the correct procedure, that is Safely Remove Hardware.

One day i connected all my uSB devices and removed them one by one by clicking Safely Remove hardware and since then the message disappeared.

So i would like to know whether you were using any external device as well. If yes, you know what you need to do. See if it helps you as well.

Thank you very much for the help Oscar. You are genius. That really helped me. SO far i went through various articles and all were saying that i might have some virus, malware, etc. But it was just a simple USB related issue as you said.

    Thanks for the help again.
