| Task Bar does not show open windows minimize I have no way to maximize or close them. I think they may be behind the task bar, but I am not sure. I am running a Dell 8400, with a 3.0 GHz processor, and 2 GB of RAM. The Start Menu Properties dialog was checked and changes made but nothing worked. It is locked, on top, and has the quick launch activated. Can anyone please suggest what I can do to regain access to the open programs temporary buttons on bottom row of the taskbar? |

Point at a blank space on the taskbar, and drag it to the side of the screen. Your settings on the monitor probably casts the bottom too low. There are usually physical buttons on a monitor to adjust the width and height. Give this a try.. |

The problem in the Subject line? Try this: Line 240. Programs Aren't Minimized in the Taskbar You really should start your own post rather than respond to and old thread; many will not see the post, since the thread is expired. |
