    Scheduled Task Issue

There are many scheduled tasks running on the computer wihout any problems. But one out of 2 times I run some tasks they finish with a result of 0x1 and the task is not performed. I have researched this result and it says it is "An incorrect function was called or an unknown function was called." Does anyone know what it means? Thanks

    RE: Scheduled Task Issue

It might be that a scheduled task only runs when the user that created it is logged on or it will not run if the user uses a blank password or it sometimes depend on some service being started already. You can try to start it manually and see if that works for you or not.

Actually, the scheduled tasks will run if the user that created it is logged on or *not*. BUT you must provide a valid username and password for the scheduled task to. Also, check your tasks don't access things that are not there when you are logged off. Like mapped network drives evaporate when you log off.

I am using only local drivers. The task might fail incase someone is logged on or not. I tested it by leaving it logged on overnight for a week and it still failed 2 times.
