Catagory 102 - Error Event ID 1003

I am having a Windows XP Pro based laptop since last 2 years and was working fine without a single problem until yesterday. Today when I booted up for the first time it crashed with the following error I managed to note:

Event ID 1003
Error code - 10000000a
parameter 1 - 00000014
parameter 2 - 00000002
parameter 3 - 00000000
parameter 4 - 8050843c

I have no idea why all of a sudden this occurred. While looking for some more info I checked the event viewer log and found “TrueVector Service, event ID 5007”. Let me tell you that I don’t have knowledge about the above mentioned error or this and also don’t know whether it is related to this crash. Please help.

Most probably the “System Error, Eventid 1003” occurs when your system try connecting I/O completion function of the Nwlnkipx.sys system file that is mistakenly defined as being pageable. For fixing the same you can refer to this Microsoft Article. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/837432

And as far as “TrueVector Service, event ID 5007’ is concerned it is somewhere related to ZoneAlarm firewall. So, the simplest solution is to remove ZoneAlarm and see if the error gone. Reinstall it back after sometime. But I don’t think this is anyway related to the crash.

Had this error. Turned out to be a bad stick of RAM.
