    System32 folder opens on startup, post reg key contents

    I am a Windows XP user. Something went wrong with this PC and now every time it starts, System32 folder opens up itself. I tried searching regarding this on web and came through a MS KB article, here it is http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=170086. I read entire article thrice but dint understood anything. Hence I came here to and hope someone can help me out with the same.

    For more information about my issue, here are the registry keys that I think are problematic:

    Ok, it seems like i fixed the problem my own. Doesn't look like anyone was going to bother anyway.

    Naa, No bother at all. By the way what did you did to fix the problem? Can you just tell us what fix you applied?

    For other people facing this problem may also go through the process provided here:

    Check your startup entries above.. http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml
    Stop an entry without effecting normal startup in msconfig.. http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks2.htm
    Alot of reg fixes, think there is one for your original problem too.. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sys.../autoruns.mspx
