Something went wrong with my Windows XP system overnight. Since today morning my system is just unable to boot up, every time it ends with a Blue Screen. It keeps on restarting and ending up on BSOD. As per troubleshooting I tried booting into Safe Mode, no success. Even tried booting with “Last Good know configuration” from boot options, yet the same result. Every time it leads back to the physical memory dump and the restart. As I have several important data stored on my PC I don’t want to reformat it. So I wanted to if this problem can be fixed by repairing using the installation Disk? Please help.

so how screwed am i? windows wont load and it pops to this with a bright
blue screen, and it dumps physical memory and restarts, i tried the safe mode
and going back to last configuration options once the reboot is complete, but
all fail and leads back to the physical memory dump and the restart

is it possible to repair windows with the xp cd or do i have to wipe
everything on my HD and restart from scratch[/QUOTE]
