RUNDLL error when starting up

I’m running this Windows XP system since a long time but two days I go I updated it with Service Pack 2. Earlier I have never had any problem but since I installed SP2, whenever I boot the system I gets an error messaging stating:

“RUNDLL Error Loading in C:\WINDOWS\System32\NvCpl.dll cannot locate module.”

Though the system works well thereafter. But can anyone here please tell me what this error all about is? How can I get rid of the same?

System32\NvCpl.dll. This NvCpl.dll file is the part of NVIDIA. This stays in system Tray icon used to change display settings, change the clock rate and memory speed for nVidia based graphics cards. In order to fix the same by disabling the NVIDIA Display Driver Service. Here is how you can do the same:

Start > Run > Type: services,msc > OK > Scroll down to and double click: NVIDIA Display Driver Service > Under Startup type set to Disabled. Click Apply > Click the Stop button. When it stops click OK. That’s it. Now just reboot the system. Hopefully the error should not pop up again.
