    Smart Bridge Alerts motive error

I am running Windows XP Home
During start up I get the message:
Blue box at top of error message states:
(Smart Bridge Alerts motive SB.exe-1 entry point not found)
White area of error message states:
(The procedure entry point get process image file name W
Could not be located in the dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL)
    Otherwise the computer runs fine.

Re: Smart Bridge Alerts motive error

    Hi johnhofy,

    From previous IE7 Release Notes:

"SmartBridge is distributing an old version of PSAPI.DLL. As a result, users
may receive the following error message after installation of Internet
    Explorer 7 Beta:
SmartBridge Alerts:MotiveSB.exe Entry Point Not Found The procedure entry
point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in the dynamic link
    library PSAPI.DLL

    To work around this error:
Navigate to the installation location for SmartBridge (\Program
    Files\Verizon...\Smart...)
Find PSAPI.DLL and rename it to something like PSAPIOLD.DLL
Do NOT rename the PSAPI.DLL file in the Windows\System32 folder
    Restart the computer
The program will find the new PSAPI.DLL in the \Windows\System32 directory
    and function normally.

Patti~ Could you please explain exactly where I would go and exactly what to
type to fix this smartbridge alert problem. I'm a new user. I went to Search
and typed in Program Files\Verizon\Smartbridge with no results. I would
    really appreciate your guidance. ~Joy

    Hi Joy,

Do a Search for PSAPI.DLL and rename all, except the one in the
    Windows\System32 folder, to PSAPI.OLD
