Battlefield 2142 problem

I am expericneing a problem with battlefield 2142 which produces the
following error in events viewer

"The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( ) cannot be found. The
local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL
files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the
/AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for
details. The following information is part of the event: 7."

the game crashes back to the desktop after producing a black screen

i have the latest graphic card and drivers and i have the correct ports open
on my computer

EA games are pretty useless at providng support

Yeah, ihave the same problem and it happens when i change my crt-display to tft :)

Working normally to Samsung SM 957mb(d-sub to digital adapter), but when i change it to Samsung SM 931c something happens, an that happening every tft-display.

Any game not work/start....only crashes.

So i play that crt-display now.
