Acrobat failed to load its core dll

My sister in law's PC was hosed up last month and I did a rebuild of her
machine over top of what was already there. XP SP2 both times

Now when she tries to open a PDF file she is getting Acrobat failed to load
its core dll

Uninstalled, removed all files traces, clean the reg and yet after as a
clean of a install as I can get, still getting this error

Anyone know what file its looking for so I make this reader work?
