Re: Windows Live app failed to initialize (0xc0000005) - HELP

Greetings,

Are you using a Sony Vaio or some other Sony product (say a Sony MP3 player)?

If so, go to Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel and remove the SonicStage Mastering
Studio Audio Filter. If that's not there, try uninstalling any other SonicStage branded
software.

After that, restart and try Messenger again.

Thank You

Hi Jonathan

Brilliant - worked first time. Thanks. You should tell Sony and MSN who couldn't answer this.

Thanks again

Steve
