How to fix license check error 0x80090019 (WPA) ? ? ?

I’m using this Windows XP desktop as it is since past 6 months. Infact in last three months I dint made any changes, no uninstallation, no new hardware or software installation. But yet from yesterday whenever I’m booting and logging to this system, I get a pop box saying:

"A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking the license for this computer. Error code: 0x80090019"

And just after this error, it logs me off automatically. When I boot again, pop up appears again. I tried getting some help from web but dint found anything working. Can anyone here please tell me what went wrong suddenly and how can I fix the problem?

Are you sure that your Windows copy is Genuine? Because this could also be the problem of WGA (Windows Genuine Advantage). To confirm the same just go to http://www.microsoft.com/genuine and see if you can validate your system there. If yes, then the problem will be solved. And if it is not WGA then, follow the steps provided in following MS KB Articles:

Start up in the recovery mode ( Command Console)

Then rename or delete all the files mention'd in this article
