    Hi POOLPRO,

The slow performance is a know issue that is shared by others here:
    http://www.ntcompatible.com/RAGE_Incoming_c8705.html

Here's another type of workaround which may work ...

You can change the priority of a program to speed it up, or slow it down.
Click Start / Click Run / Type: taskmgr and then press ENTER

    - Right Click on the program and select: "Go To Process"

    - Right Click on the process and "Set Priority" to High or Low as needed.

    - You can speed up games even more by ending all other Applications that
are listed in the taskmgr, and right click to disable all icons by your clock.

    - I was going to explain how to use the start command from the RUN
command line to launch any application from however this article is already
published on the internet and covers the entire buffet, including affinities. :-)
    http://fox2k.net/2ktweaks/game_tuning_guide.htm

    - You can slow down your games even more by running many programs,
or use the Moslo utility: http://www.hpaa.com/moslo/v132/moslo132.zip

Moslo Instructions - Note this is not for the casual player - Use only if needed:

Unzip the program to the same directory as the game you want to run slower.
For the next steps to work, you have to have that directory open in windows.
Note: Get the process name using taskmgr, then click Start / Search to Find it.

Next click Start / click Run / type: command and then press ENTER
At the DOS command prompt type: MOSLO /## GAME.EXE

Note: ## is a number (actually, percentage ... using /50 runs the game at half
normal speed) and GAME.EXE is the name of the game you want to play. :-)

    Hi POOLPRO via WindowsKB.com,

Q: Is there a newer version?

A: You might want to check out the sequel to Rage's Incoming:

hiya guys this worked for me so i thought id post to let u know my solution :)

on ur start menu go to where u select Incoming e.g. Start, All Programs, Games, Incoming (or somewhere similar to that maybe) Then, right click the game and go to Properties, then compatibility and click the box that says "run this program in compatibility mode for" then chose Windows 98/Windows ME. Apply the change then try running the game!!!

it worked for me and my brother :)
