    nv4_disp problem on Windows XP

I am getting a bluescreen on my Windows XP pc. It appeared for the first time. Recently I had formatted my pc and installed windows back from scratch. I added all the updates. So there is nothing left here. I am not able to understand why the blue screen appear instantly. It is a bit annoying now. The bluescreen error is ***STOP: 0x000000EA (0x81997AD8, 0xFFB0E108, 0xF969BCBC, 0x00000001). I am rightnow working on safe mode.Because in normal mode the system crash in few minutes.

    Re: nv4_disp problem

That is due to a dll file which is damaged. The file Nv4_disp is mostly associated to the video driver. It looks you are using a outdated driver file which is not stable. Just go on the web and download the most recent video driver. Install that in your system by removing the old one. You can also perform a windows update for the same. Ample of fixes are provided through windows update only. Can you post the description of your event log here.

Just go in control pane and remove all the old drivers. And then download all the latest drivers from the official manufacturers websites. That will be far more helpful for you in dealing with the issue. It is a driver bug. And due to some important dll file the bluescreen appear. Just replacing the single dll file is not going to help much here. The issue is associated with graphic card drive. Ensure that you had got the latest one.
