Blue screen stop code....

My pc looks to work properly but when I am trying to do a copy of Casper XP to backup my hard drive to external hard drive then the problem arrives. I am also getting the below error code while trying to do a disk check to correct the errors:
Stop 0X0000000A (0X00000188, 0X000000FF, 0X00000000, 0X804E35E9).

I have found an article on this stop code that states it might be a driver issue, so how should I find which driver is causing this problem? Thanks.

The STOP 0X0000000A IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL can be due to hardware error, software error, etc. Incase you have any third party Cd software, writing software, then ensure it is compatible with XP. Also check if it has the latest patches and updates.

Alright, so I think that I have solved my issue by deleting a MMP8500 Memorex mp3 player driver that I was not using anymore. I also did the verifier and it slowed computer down considerably, the only issue I cannot get is why casper xp was getting a blue screen to check on verification.

Hi every body. I am in need of help big time. When I turn my laptop on i get the windows xp screen then the blue screen that reads:

stop: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
the session manager initialization system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000022 (0x00000000 0x00000000).
the system has been shut down.

Can somebody please help me. Dont know alot about computers

Can you try to boot into Safe Mode and then try a repair installation of Windows XP.
