    Blue Screen Stop Code 0x00008086

I am getting Blue Screen Stop Code 0x00008086 error on my system. I am using Windows XP home edition. I am having a Dell Dimension 8400 system. I had just added a new printer on the pc. After adding the same it prompted me for driver updates. And after performing the same the system crashed. I disconnected the printer but still it is crashing. I am having lots of data in it that I cannot ignore. Can anyone help me here.

Looks like the driver is not at all compatible with your system. It is necessary that you must check the proper edition. Compatibility is a major issue with Windows XP. You will have to remove the driver from control panel. Boot in safe mode and then just get rid of the same. Then try back. The issue will be resolved. Later on when you are trying to add printer drive use the manual way and collect drivers via windows update.

Go on event viewer and just check out the detail on error you are facing. On that basis it will be far more easier for you to troubleshoot the problem. Try to use a different printer port. It happens a number of time that due to improper connectivity this kind of issue appear. To make your system more stable it essential that you perform a complete chipset driver update and then check back.
