Unable to solve IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - Blue Screen problem

Hello, I need assistant on helping me to solve this
problem as I couldn't find any solution online and
I'm not very computer tech savvy so hope someone here
can guide me on solving this problem......

I just installed a new (2GB DDR3 RAM 1333MHz KINGMAX) into the last slot
of my motherboard (Have four slots, first 3 slots each installed with
2GB DD3 RAM 1333MHz KINGMAX) and once I turn on my pc to work,
my antivirus immediately shown error alert that it will be disable due
to my window system not been updated and the next thing is my
Window Security Alerts prompting me to check for update.

After several minutes the next thing is the Blue Screen appeared
    Showing the following error:

    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    Technical information:

    *** STOP: 0x0000000A(0x2444C70C, 0x0000001C, 0x00000000, 0x804FA257)

    Beginning dump of physical memory

    --------------------------------------

After this, I immediately removed the last slot of the newly
installed RAM and turn on back my computer and the
system seems to be back to normal and no antivirus alert nor
    window security alerts appeared.

Can someone here help me on solving this problem to enable my last slot
of ram to work for my computer system?

    My system properties:

    Microsoft Windows XP
    Professional
    Version 2002
    Service Pack 3

    Computer:
    Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU
    Q8400 @2.66GHz
    1.97GHz,

    - Currently installed with 6GB RAM (2GB x 3)
    - NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT
    - GIGABYTE EP43T-UD3L Motherboard (able to support up to 8GB RAM)

Re: Unable to solve IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - Blue Screen problem

Obviously, this blue screen error occurs if there is incompatible hardware or an incompatible device driver installed on your computer. So, when you upgrade your hardware, you need to also reinstall the Operating system as well. You can also try to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" state, for that read the whole step by step article here.
