I'm getting the blue screen of death with this warning--'PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA'--but here's how it is. IT WILL NOT MOVE past that screen. I've tried hitting F8 and tried starting with Safe Mode, no luck back to the screen. I've tried using the "last best configuration settings" button, no luck, back to the screen. I've tried restarting over and over, no luck. I've searched the thread, but haven't really found an answer that applies to me.

What's wrong with it? Has the RAM crashed? And if so, before anything else, how can I get my files backed up?

My educated guess from a similar prob with my old Gateway machine on XP, is it could be the mother board. Thats what I was told before I retired it. As for file back up...just dump what you can onto a flash drive. They have up to 5 gigs now, so as for storage you should have no prob. But Mother board is my thought.
