how to reset taskbar

hi

i would like to ask your help how to reset my taskbar

I came home and I saw all my taskbar's quicklaunch displayed... when I was trying to adjust the width of the quick launch area.. it appears to be stuck and can't be adjusted.

Also, when programs or other window are running... it doesn;t show on the taskbar. When I uncheck the QL... the whole taskbar disappears.

Please help me fix this... thanks

I have already downloaded the kelly tweaks link for the fix it vbs... but it wont run... keep saying invalid something... sorry can't remember the specific dialog..

I had run vbs script before to restore cmd ... so this is kinda weird I can;t run this script to fix the taskbar issue.

Re: how to reset taskbar

Did you unlock the Taskbar before trying to move the two parallel
squiggly lines to the left which will reduce the size of the Quick Launch
bar to normal size. If not, do it and then when size is what you want, lock
the Taskbar.
Check here for programs not showing on Taskbar.

Thanks to Kelly's
Go to the link below and under the letter "T"--"Taskbar" click on "Minimized
Programs Missing" to download a vbs file fix. Save it to your hard drive
(you may want to right click and use Save Target As). Double
click the vbs file. You will be prompted when the script is done.

NOTE: If your anti-virus software warns you of a "malicious" script, this is
normal if you have "Script Safe" or similar technology enabled. These
scripts are not malicious, but they do make changes to the System Registry.
