Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or

I downloaded a movie from my sony camcorder to my magnavox dvd rw.
When I put the disk into my computers dvd drive no file shows up. It only seems to be this computer. My home computer allows me to view the movie. Is there something I need to do like update drivers in order to see the movie file when I put it into my dvd drive. It's an external drive Pioneer is the brand.

To view a movie you need a Movie Player such as Windows Media Player. If
you don't have the newest version you can download
it from Microsoft.

Re: Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or

I have the latest version of windows Media player. It still doesn't show up on the dvd when I load it. When I go to explorer to view the file there is nothing there. I know my dvd rw is working because I am able to view files from other types of disk.
Thanks anyway!!!

Have you checked that your 'Pioneer brand' dvd drive can read whatever type
of disc you used? Not all drives cand read all disc types.
