Freeware fax for windows?

I know Windows XP has a fax console. But, does anyone know of a good
freeware fax software for windows?

There is never a free lunch! You can get a fax software for free. You have to pay the fax software or internet fax service. Even you are using the windows fax and scan, you have to pay for a fax modem. I have been using Joyfax Server these days, which is quite good to my point. However, you have to pay for it though it offers a free demo version for 15 days.
