    KD911895 Update will not install

I have installed Windows XP SP3 with all the updates. The latest that I am trying to install is KB911895 HID Non-user Input Data filter which is not installing. There are no error messages given. I have got myself a ms wireless mouse installed and running. I have also tried turning up Zone Alarm and spydoctor but it will still not install. Can anyone please help. Thanks

Can you try to select Start > Help and Support and then keep your Windows up to date with Windows Update, just check your Update History and you can see the update. What is the Failure code. Can you try to double click the small red icon in the Status column for the failed update.

Thanks for the reply, after reading some discussions I finally solved this issue. I went to C:\Windows\system32\drivers and deleted the wdf01000.sys file. After that I went to windows update and selected Custom and then hardware updates, and HID non-user Input data filter should be there again. After that I selected download and install, and it entered the correct information and
solved the HID non-user Input Data Filter Error install problem.
