| Blue Screen Error-serious error?
My computer has started to do this in the middle of operation, I'll be on the internet and all of a sudden I get a blue screen error and computer freezes or restarts, sorry if this has been posted already but I've been looking for ages to try and find an answer, I really know nothing about computers! Microsoft windows said after I turned it back on: your system has recovered from a serious error. then click here for details so I did and got this, which means nothing to me!: Error Signature BCCode : 1000000a BCP1 : 0000000F BCP2 : 00000002 BCP3 : 00000000 BCP4 : 804FD399 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 768_1 Any help would be great! thanks in advance! |

| Re: Blue Screen Error-serious error?
bluelea Please provide a copy of the Stop Error report. This is the same error message as you have posted from Event Viewer but it comes in a different format and can reference a file under the line of code. Disable automatic restart on system failure. This should help by allowing time to write down the STOP code properly. Right click on the My Computer icon on the Desktop and select Properties, Advanced, Start-Up and Recovery, System Failure and uncheck box before Automatically Restart.Do not re-enable automatic restart on system failure. From what you are saying the problem is internet related. What programme are you using to access the internet and what exactly are you in the process of doing? Background information on Stop Error message http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms793589.aspx 0x0000000A: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Typically due to a bad driver, or faulty or incompatible hardware or software. Use the General Troubleshooting of STOP Messages checklist above. Technically, this error condition means that a kernel-mode process or driver tried to access a memory location to which it did not have permission, or at a kernel Interrupt ReQuest Level (IRQL) that was too high. (A kernel-mode process can access only other processes that have an IRQL lower than, or equal to, its own.)
