Stop: C000021A {Fatal System Error}

Yesterday I shut down my Windows XP computer when a storm knocked the power and Windows was automatically installing 6 updates before shutting down. Afterwards I tried to start the computer and it gets to the Windows starting screen and then it goes black for a few seconds and then a blue screen with below error message shows up:

Stop: C000021A {Fatal System Error}
The Session Manager Initialization System Process Terminated Unexpectedly with a Status of OXC000026C (OX00000000 OX00000000).

The System has been shut down.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

You can try to login to last known good configuration byt pressing F8 buttong on the keyboard when the pc starts to boot and then you will get a screen with options, here it will be the last known good config that you have to select.
