How do I import .mov files into Windows Movie Maker 2.1?

I have just now bought a new Canon digital camera and I am not able to import the .mov files into Windows Movie Maker. Can anyone tell me how to import the .mov files into Windows Movie Maker? Thanks.

I think that you will need to convert the .mov files to some other format and then only you can import the converted file into movie maker. There are tons of converter software available for doing it, just search it on the net.

Acutally, the apple quicktime mov files are not at all compatible with Movie Maker. The only fix to this problem is to find a way to convert the files to a compatible format before you can import them, like for instance, to wmv file format, which is the best choice.
