WinUSB.sys Installation

Hi all,

I'm trying to install the WinUSB in XP, i used the inf file provided
in the 'WinUSB_How to.doc" for (Loopback DSF Sample). However, when i
give the inf(file with changed PID and VID for Loopback DSF Sample)
path during the driver installation, it finishes well, and shows up as
MyDeviceClass and the device below the class name, but when i go to
the driver details for the device it shows it is using BULKUSB.sys,
and also to mu surprise i could not find the WinUSB in my
system32\drivers path. Can anyone tell me what could be wrong? or
Please tell me the correct procedure so that i can correct myself it
in the steps i'm installing. Thank you.

Regards, Sanjay

Re: WinUSB.sys Installation

Hello I go through your difficulty and make an internet search and I found that many users are facing this same difficulty so I try to search this issue with Microsoft’s website and I found something helpful solution on your query. Below I specified the link. Just go through that link and follow the settings which are mentioned there. I hope this will help you.
