groupmanager.exe

Been trying to fix a firend's PC, she's using XP pro, continually
updated thorough Windows update, and the machine won't shut down....as
in turn off computer | restart (or shut down either). Her windows have
also begun draging slowly and roughly, not smoothy as normal. Best I
can see is it started happening after she installed Nero 9. I see
something called "groupmanager.exe" in the task manager list, which
I've not seen before. It wants to connect to 72.29.83.123, which
traces back to a company called Hostdime.com and has a website of
www.dimenoc.com. When I end the process, the machine shuts down fine.
I've made a temporary fix by deleting the RUN key for groupmanager.exe
from the registry, but the windows still studder as she drags them
around so something is not right. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Barb
