dshowext.ax file

I have a laptop running with Windows XP. I recently tried installing Plextor ConvertX PX-M402U video capture device on this laptop but it wanted me to install the drivers for the same. When I try installing the drivers, it gives me an error message saying “dshowext.ax is missing”.

I have no idea where can I find this file. Can you guys help me with this? Many thanks.

Did you not get them on a driver disc? Have you had a search of plextors
site?
