    Active Desktop Recovery not working

I was facing a system failure experience on Windows XP and after that the Active Desktop Recovery will not work at all. I am not able to reset the wallpaper or neither can I change to any other wallpaper? Can anyone tell me how to solve this issue? Thanks.

Re: Active Desktop Recovery not working

Check the article on "How to Enable or Disable the Active Desktop" from this link - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/190228

Normally, the Active Desktop is available on 32 bit version of Windows XP SP2 but with reduced functionality. It was removed from Windows Vista.

You can try to use the Remove it software, it comes with 2 desktop reset tools built-in. Just select yes for all options when prompted. Download it from searching on google.
