Can't install XP SP3 on fat32 shows sqlite errors

I want to upgrade my XP Professional to SP3 in order to run Adobe's CS4 suite. I tried the upgrade but on the reboot the DOS screen showed a fat32 disc error and listed a number of invalid files - all beginning with "sqlite_" and then it said "setup was interrupted. restoring prior configuration."

Questions:

1) Do I need to convert from fat32 to NTSC to install SP3?
2) Can this only be done by formatting the drive?
3) Why am I getting the sqlite errors? Are they from a program I can uninstall?

Thanks
Charles

No SP3 installs just fine on a FAT32 partition.
2) Can this only be done by formatting the drive?
No you can change to NTFS by using the "Convert" option.
Although I do not recommend converting just to install SP3.
3) Why am I getting the sqlite errors?

Re: Can't install XP SP3 on fat32 shows sqlite errors

Thanks for the info. That's great. I have downloaded SQLite 3.6 but how do I update the version that my Win XP is running. All the documentation seems to be about how to read/write to the database once it's installed.

I used your link number 2 to ask the question at Microsoft. I'll let you know what the response is.
