Windows Movie Maker: No Sound, Audio Input "Greyed" out

I have been trying to import Video via a Dazzle DVC100 video capture device.
Audio and video import fine w/ Pinnacle Movie Studio 12/. But w/ WMN I import
the video perfectly, but the audio "input Level" is greyed out and there is
no sound when I burn a movie to DVD and playback. There also is no sound when
I am editing. My "Audio" device(soundcard) is a Realtek HD digital input

Must be a compatibility issue with the source files:

RE: Windows Movie Maker: No Sound, Audio Input "Greyed" out

With any video capture card or "tv tuner card",the best way to capture video
onto the pc is,once card is installed to pc,boot into xp,then install drivers
only from its cd or downloaded software, end the install at this point. For
youre
video capture software, download microsoft encoder 9 series, get its
utilities also.
The encoder will capture,or simply view contents playing,it also will convert
video or audio from analog devices..The WMCap utility lets you view only..Its
the only way to go for video capture....
