| No sound but device
I've got a dell demension 5100. I recently re-installed XP using a copied disk. I've got everything back except sound. The device a Creative Sound Blaster (SP PCI512 Wave Device) is showing up in the Sounds and Audio Devices Properties, and it looks like all the drivers are installed and working properly. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still can't get it to work. When I go to the device manager the only issue it shows is under OTHER DEVICES => USB DEVICE . I don't think that has anything to do with the sound device but thought I'd mention it. If anyone has any ideas it'd be greatly appreciated. Have a great day. |
