STOP Error Blue Screen - 0x0000000F4

“STOP Error Blue Screen - 0x0000000F4” is the Error I’m getting every now and then on my Windows XP system. The next codes in parentheses look something like 0x000000003, 0x89CF.... Since last few days my system also seems to be using huge system resources and hence it keeps on freezing frequently and now it has also started giving Blue Screens.

Is there any permanent fix for the same? Please help.
